Overcoming Difficulties! DN1200 Water Supply Inverted Siphon Pipeline with Our Intelligent Spraying & Lining Tecnology

Overcoming Difficulties! Successful Rehabilitation of Another DN1200 Water Supply Inverted Siphon Pipeline with Our Intelligent Spraying & Lining Technology
Post-rehabilitation Effect

Recently, UR has successfully completed the rehabilitation of a DN1200 water supply inverted siphon pipeline. Adopting UR developed intelligent spraying and lining rehabilitation technology with new functional materials, we have effectively addressed multiple complex on-site challenges. The project has gained high recognition from the client, fully demonstrating our professional construction capabilities and technological strengths in trenchless rehabilitation.

The inverted siphon features steel pipes on both sides with an inclination angle of 30°, and a concrete pipe section in the middle horizontal zone, resulting in extremely harsh operating conditions.

Open-cut pipe replacement was adopted for other sections of the pipeline, while excavation was completely unfeasible for this inverted siphon due to site constraints. Only one end of the pipeline allowed excavation and ventilation, whereas the other end was equipped with valves and prohibited from digging.

During construction, pipeline blocking and diversion pipe reservation were required. In addition, the rehabilitation section passes through three elbows. Restricted by the above complex conditions, conventional pipe replacement and general trenchless solutions were inapplicable. Our spraying & lining rehabilitation technology was ultimately selected and delivered outstanding results.

Our innovative spraying and lining technology perfectly solves the above technical bottlenecks. It enables seamless bonding between steel and concrete pipe substrates to realize fully trenchless construction, and adapts perfectly to complex structures such as pipe elbows without extra treatment — this serves as the core reason why the client chose our solution.

Even under poor visibility inside the pipeline, our technology ensures precise and uniform coating thickness control. With high precision and stable performance, we strictly guaranteed construction safety, accelerated project progress, and coped with complex working conditions efficiently.

Structural Reinforcement: Integrated Combination of Materials and Pipeline to Eliminate Pressure Risks

The rehabilitation materials bond closely with the original pipeline to form an integrated structure and share structural stress jointly. This performance thoroughly eliminates potential safety hazards caused by water pressure, supports rapid emergency maintenance in the long run, and ensures continuous and stable urban water supply.

Quality Upgrade: Breaking Traditional Anti-corrosion Limits & Setting New Standards for Water Supply Pipelines

Different from traditional processes that only provide basic anti-corrosion effects, our spraying & lining technology achieves structural performance upgrading with excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

It effectively slows down pipeline aging and improves tap water quality to a certain extent, fully meeting the core demands of water supply pipeline projects.

Zero Safety Risks: Certified Materials for Comprehensive Drinking Water Safety Protection

All rehabilitation materials applied in the project hold official drinking water safety certifications, containing no toxic or harmful substances and fully complying with national and industrial standards for water supply pipelines.

Strict safety control at the material source underpins client trust and safeguards residents’ daily drinking water safety.

The smooth delivery of this project verified the feasibility and practicality of our spraying & lining technology, and fully proved our professional expertise in the rehabilitation of complex pipe networks.

Going forward, we will continue to optimize and upgrade our core technologies to tackle more difficult pipeline rehabilitation projects. We will protect urban water supply security with cutting-edge technology and corporate responsibility, and fulfill our social commitment to urban infrastructure operation and maintenance.
